Background
I started getting interested in psychonautics a few months ago. I had no prior experience of induced lucid dreams, this was my first night trying after reading the wiki page. I did previously have lucid dreams, but they only happened naturally, once every few months.
I never took any mind-altering substances ever, however I have read a lot of information about them in the past few months.
I have previously tried out hypnosis, and found out I was more receptive than the average person. It is also easy for me to visualize level 3 psychedelic geometry in a completely sober state: it suffices for me to be in my room during the night, which must be dark, and it is not even necessary to close my eyes, press on them or do anything special except concentrating a bit on the geometry. I once managed to reach level 4 geometry for a few seconds, a few days ago, while facepalming and closing my eyes with a lot of force. I have no idea if this is normal, as the wiki page of geometry only mentions levels 1 and 2 being attainable without hallucinogens.
I have been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, which may be responsible for some of this. It is very likely responsible of my above-average level in math and below-average level in social interactions with unknown people.
Experience report
NOTE: all these events took place in the dream world, which is subject to time distortions, which makes it impossible for me to construct a timeline. In fact, multiple real hours have probably felt like only a few minutes.
I realized I was dreaming when doing a reality check under my room's door. The dream was set during the day, and so it was bright in my room. I found LSD tabs under my bed and put one under my tongue. Very quickly, it felt like something was touching me everywhere at the same time, and I tried to close my eyes.
Then a black 3D version of the Mandelbrot set appeared very close to me on a white background (white and black may be mixed up, I don't remember exactly) (basically, the circles of the Mandelbrot set were replaced by spheres, and the cardioids by a similarly "rounded" version), and started flickering, then shrinking until it disappeared entirely. It was then replaced by another of the same shape, and this process kept repeating. At some point the effects of dream-LSD stopped, and I opened my eyes, just to see a friend named Sarah barely having entered into my room. Then we teleported in front of a blackboard, and she asked me to prove the little Picard theorem in complex analysis, albeit dream-she omitted the case of a single value being omitted. I tried starting to find a proof then woke up.
I cannot decide from the Geometry page's wording if level 5 geometry implies colors, which were absent in my experience, and so if this was truly sober geometry level 5, or a new "3 + i" type of geometry not mentioned on the page. Also, this definitely isn't "supposed" to happen, as according to the lucid dreaming page, psychedelic geometry in particular is much weaker with dream drugs as opposed to real drugs.
The next morning, I started chatting about my experience with the real Sarah, and she told me that her math teacher has once given a proof of this theorem as a math exam.
This feeling has been amazing, and I definitely want to experiment with lucid dreams more in the future, and encourage other people to do so as well.
