I have dabbled in the world of hallucinogens many times before. I have previous experience with ketamine, 25I-NBOMe, LSD, Psilocybin mushrooms and MDMA. I heard about DXM and cough syrup containing it from a friend and i was intrigued to try it. I heard it has effects similiar to ketamine, which, when,i tried, turned out to be quite boring. So,i was quite skeptical but still curious. My parents were gone for a whole two days and i happened to be quite bored on this day and after a long time of pondering, i decided i will try DXM today. So i went over to a local pharmacy and bought a 150ml bottle of cough syrup (Orion Pharma Resilar)
I started drinking the cough syrup at about 7 PM but found out that it tastes less than stellar. After that amazing discovery i decided to mix the cough syrup with a white monster i had. After that the taste got a lot milder so it went down pretty easily. After that i decided to listen to some electronic music on my speaker. After about 15 minutes of me listening to music i called some friends. We talked for about 20 minutes after one of them decided to come over. While he was on the way i started to feel the first effects, i was lightheaded and i couldn't walk properly. When he came over we decided to go out for a smoke. We walked about half a mile to a spot overlooking a highway. That's about when the effects really started kicking in.
I was extremely lightheaded, tired, numb and quite dizzy, my stomach had a weird burning sensation and i constantly felt like i was gonna throw up or soil myself. After that we came back to the garage and it was pretty chill for about 10 minutes. Then i started doing weird stuff like licking a lamp, hugging a planket and just walking around the room in circles. At this point my stomach was going crazy and i needed to clench my ass cheeks together to avoid shitting myself. I rushed to the bathroom and opened the flood gates, it was just a river of shit water. My stomach was making crazy noises and i started to worry about others in the house hearing my primal grunts and the sound of shitty (literally) niagara falls going down in the bathroom. While this was happening my vision started to gain a weird purple tint. Also everything felt like slow motion and my movements were janky and robot-like. After destroying the toilet i went back to the garage. Nothing of note happened here until we went to my room after my sister and some of her friends left the house. Here we listened to techno music and i decided to play some Left 4 Dead, this turned out to be an amazing idea. I felt so immersed in the game and i sometimes felt like i was in the game myself. My friend said that i should join some online lobbies and so i did. Here i just screamed about doing drugs and brazilian Left 4 Dead players. I got bored of this aswell after not getting any answers from the people in the lobby. This is when i noticed some weird wobbly visuals on some paintings on my walls, at the same time that purple tint just got stronger and stronger. I talked a couple minutes to my friend about the effects but that got interrupted because my stomach was going crazy. I initiated my second crusade to the bathroom. After surviving the shitpocalypse i came back to my room. We went back to the garage after my sister came home. In the garage we called another friend and now i just went crazy. I started repeating things like "I am an apple" or "I am a principal" over and over. I also picked up the speaker and hugged it. Feel the pain by Dinosaur Jr. was playing and it sounded amazing. I could feel the song through the speaker. By now i was getting a little tired and decided to send my friend home. I went for a piss and went back to my room. My head was just spinning and everything felt like it was 10fps. I couldn't make sense of anything. I went into the bathroom countless times, about 4 or 3 times. The diarrhea was starting to piss me off and after taking a shower i went to my room and just laid in bed. I was just waiting for the effects and diarrhea to end. My stomach finally calmed down at about 3 AM and this is when i just went to sleep.
Afterglow: The next day i was a little tired but overall i felt really motivated and happy. Music still sounded extremely good and i just spent the whole day listening to music and playing guitar.
