This compound is so potent that spilling a small amount on one's skin can result in a lethal overdose. Death may also occur when fentanyl is combined with depressants such as opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, gabapentinoids, thienodiazepines or other GABAergic substances. It is strongly discouraged to consume large amounts of these substances together.
