Noribogaine (also known as 12-hydroxyibogamine or ibogamin-12-ol) is a psychoactive metabolite of Ibogaine substance of the Tryptamine class. Noribogaine is part of TA (total alkaloids) from Tabernanthe iboga (botany). It is thought to be involved in the antiaddictive effects of the iboga extraction. [1]
