Emotion suppression

Emotionality suppression can be described as a person’s current emotional state being suppressed, blocked and replaced with neutral apathy regardless of how positive or negative their previous emotional state may have been. This results in strong feelings emotional neutrality and can potentially lead into catatonic states of disinterest or indifference.
