This compound is so potent that spilling a small amount on one's skin can result in a lethal overdose.

Death may also occur when fentanyl is combined with depressants such as opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, gabapentinoids, thienodiazepines or other GABAergic substances.[1]

It is strongly discouraged to consume large amounts of these substances together.
