Potentiators are a class of substance that can be used to enhance a users sensitivity to another substance, although they are also known to potentially cause effects on their own by interacting with endogenously produced substances. Since then potentiators have begun to emerge as a novel tool when used in conjunction with certain psychoactives, and as such many new combinations have sprung up in recent years.
