The previous dosage ranges for pregabalin were extremely high considering it's variability in effect, and is especially cavalier compared to dosage recommendations for gabapentin. Studies on dose equivalency generally center around a 5:1 gabapentin to pregabalin ratio. Many non-tolerant individuals are quite sensitive and can be extremely inebriated at even a 300mg dose. I personally know two people who had difficult and disorienting experiences on 300mg. I can provide citations in discussion
