Prescription Drugs
Prescription Drugs
SSRIs
If someone on SSRIs wants to take any hallucinogen, they should abstain from their SSRI for at least double the half life of their SSRI. Complications from SSRI interaction can range from decreased effects to fatal serotonin syndrome.
MAOIs
None of these substances should be taken while on an MAOI, use on a prescription MAOI must be discontinued for 2 weeks before it would be safe to take any of these drugs.
*phenthylamines
*aMT / aET
*serotonin releasers
*DXM, MXE, PCP
*Ibogaine
*Tramadol
*SSRI/SNRI
*5-HTP
*cathinones

MAOIs
SSRI/SNRI antidepressants
None of these substances should be taken while on an SSRI, use of a prescription must be discontinued for 3-5 days before taking these substances
*2C-T-7
*aMT / aET
*MAOI / RIMA
*DXM, MXE, PCP
*Ibogaine
*Tramadol
*5-HTP

In many cases, taking an MAOI can lead to more severe negative effects from hallucinogens (although it actually improves the trip for several drugs). An MAOI can be mixed with mushrooms, mescaline, LSD or vaporized DMT safety which will increase the trip. An MAOI is needed to make DMT orally active and this combination is commonly known as ayahuasca. When taking any other hallucinogens, one must abstain from MAOIs for at least double the drug's half life.
Anticonvulsants
*tryptamines
*phenethylamines
*Ibogaine

*Atypical antidepressants that have any effect on serotonin or dopamine should be treaded just as carefully as SSRIs.
5-HTP

5-HTP should not be taken while under the influence of any of these drugs, it can be used before or after though
Recreational drugs
*2C-T-7
Dissociatives
*aMT / aET

*MAOI / RIMA
Alcohol, GHB/GBL, and Benzos should be avoided while on any dissociative as this can lead to nausea, vertigo, and blackouts
*SSRI/SNRI

*serotonin releasers
DXM, MXE, PCP, and PCP analogs should not be mixed with any serotonin releasing agents or reuptake inhibitors. Mixing it with 2C-T-7, MDMA, aMT, cocaine or amphetamine can lead to Serotonin Syndrome because of the effect of these drugs on the SERT.

Ketamine does not have any effect on the SERT and can be used safely with MDMA, however caution should still be taken when using stimulants as well.

Psychedelics
DOx chemicals that cause strong vasoconstriction should not be mixed with any stimulants.

Serotonin Releasers
The main method of action on this group of drugs is releasing serotonin in the brain. As such they should be used in moderation when mixed with each other and should not be mixed with serotonin reuptake inhibitors.

Common serotonin releasers: MDMA, MDA, MDEA, 6-APB, 5-APB, MDAI, Mephedrone, Methylone

Serotonin reuptake inhibiting hallucinogens: aMT, DXM

Possible Heart Risk
These combinations should be avoided if you have a history of heart complications:
*Ketamine should not be mixed with cocaine as there is a high chance of having a heart attack.
