| The [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shipibo-Conibo_people Shipibo people] are a large tribe in the amazon rain forest whose culture is heavily involved with ritualized [[ayahuasca]] use. These textiles patterns are deliberately made by the Shipibos as artifacts of ayahuasca hallucination, capturing the specific styles of repeating geometric forms better than many examples of modern psychedelic artwork.
