Color tinting is defined as a visual effect that can occur on low to moderate doses of certain classical psychedelics. This effect manifests itself when the user's whole field of vision becomes tinted through a certain color as if a transparency or overlay filter is placed over one's vision. It is separate and distinct from color shifting or color replacement.
