Gustatory hallucination
Gustatory hallucinations are best described as hallucinations involving the sense of taste. A common example of this is when one's mouth, especially one's saliva, picks up a strong sweet taste, despite no stimulus. Another example is a strong, unpleasant metallic taste in one's mouth after most dissociative/deliriant trips. This type of hallucination is rather strange, compared to other types of hallucinations.
