I think there's an error in the dosage section. The section reports a threshold dose of 5-10mg. This conflicts with https://erowid.org/chemicals/4_acetoxy_dmt/4_acetoxy_dmt_dose.shtml, which reports a threshold dose of 2.5mg. The latter more closely matches my personal observations. I've seen people have mild CEVs and a strong bodyload from as little as 7mg, both of which are clearly above threshold.

4-AcO-DMT is a thought to be a prodrug to the drug psilocin which has been used as an entheogen from psilocybin muchroom. Thus 4-AcO-DMT could be regarded as an entheogen as well.
